FARMHOUSE MIDWIFERY COMMUNITY INC.

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving women & families in rural Alabama

Dear Friend,

Thank you for your interest in supporting Farmhouse Midwifery Community Inc.

For years, Farmhouse Midwifery Community (FMCO) has functioned as a ministry — serving women, nurturing families, and creating spaces for connection, education, and support. Now established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, FMCO aims to expand its reach and impact by implementing new initiatives and growing its community programs.

We invite our community to partner with us in this new season of growth. Your support is vital to sustaining and expanding the services and outreach of FMCO. Together, we can build a beautiful and supportive community for women and families in need.

“Laura and Farmhouse Midwifery Community made my hospital birth a dream! She was there through every step - prenatal visits with my OB, laboring at home and encouragement through a quick hospital delivery. She taught me how to advocate for myself and worked wonderfully alongside the hospital staff. I wish every woman could have the unwavering support of a midwife, montrice or doula throughout their pregnancy journey.”

— Haley Whittemore, Cullman, AL
“FMCO has empowered me to become an active participant in my own care and by consequence the care of my whole family! I have never experienced a better healthcare, listening and guidance than I have at FMCO. FMCO is raising the standards of healthcare and I am forever grateful.“

“This community has walked with me through three beautiful homebirths, and I can’t express how grateful I am for their constant encouragement, wisdom, and support. They create a space where mothers feel seen, heard, and empowered. I truly wouldn’t want to walk this motherhood journey with anyone else.”
